ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Ron Serfass grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, an area of a flourishing arts culture and artist colonies such as the famous town of New Hope. His early paintings included many Bucks County scenes and are displayed throughout that area in the homes of local art lovers. Many of these paintings were commissioned. Ron worked for the famed Boehm Porcelain Studio, china painting porcelain bird and animal sculptures. After three years, he began sculpting and painting his own sculptures, selling his works at prestigious jewelers and art galleries. After traveling the country and teaching this fine art, he was approached by Random House Publishers to create a book on how he did his work. Available in most major libraries and online for reading, it is titled PORCELAIN: THE ELITE OF CERAMICS. Ron resides in Florida, where he designs men's fashion. His company HE Swim and Bodywear sells his designs worldwide via the Internet. His success with fashion has now allowed him time to get back into his first passion - painting. His style has evolved from the realism of his early paintings into an abstract form that he believes better captures his subconscious human emotions.
