ARTIST STATEMENT
My work is primarily concerned with the documenting and cataloging of identities, social landscapes, relationships and the endless details that construct our human experience. I am interested in how people reveal themselves to a camera and in some cases, a stranger. Often the instinct that informs me to photograph is largely rooted in a fascination with the ways we create our own histories, the histories of others and ultimately our contribution to creating a culture.
